The ugly Truth No One Talks About

Fapelli’s not perfect. Here are three landmines.

1. You are 100% responsible for your own traffic
   There is no discovery algorithm in place. Bring your own audience, or starve. Reddit blocks links, Twitter has a shaky connection, and TikTok does not allow them. Only old-school promotional methods.
2. If your content is mass-reported, payouts can take 48-72hrs.
   It happened to a writer I knew in November. The $42,000 was held for four full days, while humans reviewed it. She was paid plus $500 as an “inconvenience” bonus, but it hurts to be without rent for four days.
3. The design is similar to 2015 Reddit
   Function is more important than form. If you want pretty, look elsewhere.

You can learn how to do it by following the steps of someone who has already done it.

1. Spend the first week redirecting all of your existing audience. (Use Linktree, Allmylinks or a customized domain).
2. Test the limits by posting exactly what you were banned for elsewhere.
3. Get your first-month followers to convert quickly by offering 30-50% off.
4. Set up tiered subscriptions ($5, $15, $50) plus PPV bundles
5. Open rates for mass messages are crazy high because there is no algorithm to bury them.

Time Investment: 4-6 hours in the first week and then 1-2 hours per day.

My controversial take

OnlyFans doesn’t want to be your friend. They never were. They are a publicly-traded company, and they will put every creator in the dock the minute Wall Street demands that the product be “family friendly.”

Fapelli may be rough, but they are honest about their mission.

Two of my clients moved there in Q4 2020. Additional revenue totaled $187,000. This is not a theory.

Platforms aren’t suitable for everyone. OnlyFans is for those who need algorithm lottery tickets and hand-holding.
